Year 9 Careers

My Career Insights Update

Year 9 students at the Mooroopna Campus have commenced the My Career Insights (Morrisby) Program. The first part of the program involves students completing a series of online questions and quizzes on the Morrisby Profile website that enables them to:

• learn about the skills and abilities they could bring to a job
• find out what jobs match their abilities, interests and personality, and the subjects they need for those jobs.

 A report is generated from this profiling and in Term Two, students will have a 30-minute follow up meeting with a Morrisby-trained Career practitioner, who will explain their report. Parents/guardians are able to attend this meeting.

Profiling of students will continue for the duration of Term One. Any parents yet to provide permission are encouraged to do so as this is a very valuable program. Additional forms can be obtained from the Mooroopna Office or by contacting Tarsh Boyko at natasha.boyko@education.vic.gov.au
