'Dancing For Country' Illustration competition

Last term Gateway Plaza Leopold proudly partnered with author, Warrawu, a Wadjigany woman from the western Wagait region of the Northern Territories and talented student artists from both Ocean Grove and Clifton Springs Primary schools, to create the community storybook, Dancing For Country, in celebration of the NAIDOC Week 2021 theme; Heal Country.

Throughout the July school holidays, the local community were invited to vote on their favourite student artist illustrations to be featured in the community storybook.

It is with great pleasure that we announce the winning illustrations for the Gateway Plaza Leopold

Hey people! It's your middle school leaders from 4AM here. This is our first middle school leader task we have done (apart from a meeting). Our names are Milla, Quinn and Ezra. The other middle school leaders names are Tayla, Alice, Baxter, Tulip, Poppy, Ella, Ada, Patrick and Max.

Now getting back on what's upcoming.. Athletics day!!

Zara from 4AL said " I'm really excited and enthusiastic about it"

Add a happy face emoji at the end! The events in the athletics are: long jump, triple jump, high jump and shot put. The events that everyone can do are: 100m run, 200m run and the hurdles.

On the year 4 deck there will be a suggestion box, open for anyone who has an idea for the middle school leaders to do. An idea will be drawn randomly once a week.

Thank you
