The P&F are currently organising the next date for a second-hand uniform stall. We will advise you shortly, so please keep up to date with newsletter articles and the skoolbag app notifications for further information.

Lunch Order Day

On Friday 30th July, Rose and her team are running the first Term 3 lunch order day. Parents will have the opportunity to order for their children, a Don’s hot dog and/or Mini Jam Donuts (The Village Bakery). Information about how to order, prices and final order dates will follow in upcoming newsletter articles. Shortly you will also receive a flyer with all the required details.

Trivia Night

Parents, get ready for a FUN, HIGH ENERGY, KID-FREE evening out!  On Friday 13th August, you are invited to join the P&F at our Annual Trivia Night. The evening will be jam packed with games, lots of laughs and well… trivia! This is a ticketed event, cost $15 per person and will start promptly at 7pm. Groups of up to 8 people per table. But not to worry, if you don’t have a group to join, you can still purchase tickets a join a group on the night.

BYO food and drinks (including alcoholic), and lots of GOLD COINS for games and activities. We hope to see as many of you there as possible 😊

Tony’s Pie Drive

Please support us in this Winter Warmer Fundraiser… and what better way to stay warm, than with a hot, freshly baked pie! Tony’s Pies is a well established pastry business in the local community that is offering a range of pies, quiches and sausage rolls for purchase this coming August. To order you simply need to visit Quickcliq, select your fave pastries, make your payment, then wait for delivery to the school on Wednesday 18th August. 

Upon return to Term 3, you will receive a flyer and product list with detailed information about how and when to order. Thank you in advance for your support.

Father’s Day Stall and Breakfast Event

Across two days in September, Wednesday 1st and Friday 3rd, children will be given the opportunity to celebrate their wonderful Father’s or Special Men in their life with a Father’s Day Stall and Breakfast Event.  The P&F are still fine tuning the details for this event, and we thank you for your patience in awaiting these details. We will keep you informed as the information unfolds.

St. Vinnie’s Winter Appeal

Danielle Sportelli, the HERO of this event, St. Fidelis would like to THANK YOU. The hard work, time and effort you put into organising and over-looking this event did not go unnoticed. And following is a message from Danielle:

Once again thank you to everyone who donated to the Vinnies Winter Appeal this year.

Although we had disruption across the donation period due to COVID related issues, we had an opportunity before the end of term for our liaison Doug to collect the majority of items. 

Once again, and as you can see from the images below, we had an amazing amount of over 50 bags of clothing, blankets, scarves and beanies donated, plus a fantastic number of toiletries and food items. We were a little low in men’s donations this year but had an overwhelming number of women’s and kid’s items which will assist many families and single Mums.

Doug was once again amazed by our supporting community and quoted -

“This effort is Amazing… These items will assist so many different families and individuals across our network. Thank you to the wonderful St Fidelis community AGAIN for all your support. It is outstanding each year.”

Due to this 5th lockdown, the last of the donations that were due to be collated on Friday are yet to be finalised, but once we are allowed back into the school grounds these will be forwarded onto Doug.

Thanks again to everyone’s individual efforts and generosity for those less fortunate than ourselves. This effort truly encapsulates our St Fidelis' christian, community spirit.

Term 2 Fundraising Summary

As can be observed, the joint efforts of our school community raised an impressive $1536.15 in Term 2 fundraising events. These funds will used towards improvements for school resources and building plans. We thank you for your continued support with all our fundraising activities and we look forward to offering more events in Terms 3 and 4.
