COVID Cleaning protocols

Cleaning Services during Circuit Breaker period

Our Spotless Cleaning Teams will continue to operate as per current rostered hours and scope of works completed throughout 2021, which involves significantly more cleaning and disinfecting compared with the cleaning arrangements prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. It includes but is not limited to:

• daily mopping of hard floors
• daily vacuuming of soft floors
• detailed clean and disinfection of bathrooms at the end of each school day
• daily spot checks of outdoor eating areas, with cleaning to occur when visible obvious soiling is present, for example a sticky liquid spill.

In addition, there will be daily cleaning and disinfecting of all high touch surfaces in all areas, which includes but is not limited to:

• light switches, door handles and railings
• tops and arms of shared used seats, shared desks, tables and counters
• shared electrical equipment button and handles
• tap handles, soap dispenser pumps and toilets (lid, seat, flush buttons).

Additional Cleaning Tasks

Spotless have assured our college community they will also; detail cleaning of chairs, high dusting, detail cleaning toilets including walls & ceilings, external portable entrances & walls and moving furniture on wheels to clean under & below.

Our Spotless cleaning team will continue to work rapidly to plan and manage our cleaning needs, as they are committed to providing the appropriate cleaning service at EMC to assist with the safety and wellbeing of our entire school community.
