VCAL UPDATE

Information evening for all 2022 VCAL families.

Please ensure a representative from your family attends even if your child completed VCAL in 2021 as there are some small changes to the program.

Congratulations to the Year 12 VCAL students who have officially finished all parts of their VCAL program! We will miss you and please keep in touch 

Also a huge shout out to the EMC VCAL team as the program won the Best Practice Awards at the VCAL awards night! Thank you to all the teachers who have made such a fantastic effort to plan engaging curriculum for our students. 

Year 11 VCAL interviews and presentations:

Year 11 VCAL students will be participating in a mock job interview as well as a VCAL reflection presentation in Term 4. The interview and presentation schedule has been posted to the students Compass under their class resources. Classes will be cancelled during this time but any student who has not completed all set learning tasks will be required in Redemption. We are hoping to run these on site but will depend on restrictions.

Structured Workplace Learning has been cancelled while we are in lockdown. 

A communication will be sent if this news changes.

SBATs are strongly encouraged for all VCAL students

UTrain application and interview process for our 2022 cohort has commenced, successful applicants will complete our enrolment and induction sessions in December before commencing their SBAT's in January 2022.
