Prep LFH

By Michelle Caruso

As we near the end of the term, it is always important to reflect on ourselves as learners, ourselves as people and all the things we have learnt throughout the term both at school and at home. In addition, as part of all our individual cultures, we are provided with opportunities to self-reflect. An example of this is today,  is where the Jewish culture commit a day to self-reflection, called Yom Kippur”

The Preps explored the “power of self-reflection”  by recognising their personal strengths and how our strengths can lift us up. Just like the hot air balloons in the video of the text, ‘Who you were made to be’ read by the onsite staff and students of GWPS.  Preps collaborated in discussing what personal strengths they identified within themselves and each other. Then they added their personal strengths to the hot air balloon folds and decorated their balloon to allow for self-expression and creativity.
