CAMP INFORMATION

2017 – Yr 8 – Lake Dewar Camp

We’re on the countdown to Year 8 Camp…. 6 weeks to go!

Dates: Monday 11th to Wednesday 13th December 2017

Thank-you to those parents/guardians and students who have returned the required documentation. If your child’s health status has changed since returning your original medical forms, please send your child to Mrs Arneil or Ms Farrington-Williams (Camp organisers) to collect new medical forms so that the updated information can be recorded.

Reminder that final camp payments were due by: October 15th. Please finalise any outstanding amounts by the end Friday 3rd November.

Please appreciate that we need to finalise numbers for this camp. (ie. Bus and camp bookings) Any students planning not to attend this compulsory school program, should have provided notification, in writing, to the Co-ordinators.

2018 – All Years –  Leadership Camp

Dates: Monday 26th to Tuesday 27th February 2018

2018 – Yr 11 –  Wellbeing, Pathways and Study Skills Camp

Dates: Monday 12th to Wednesday 14th March 2018

Students have received documentation and should have completed and returned this to Mrs O’Shaughnessy, before the end of last term.

Payments of $300 can be made directly to the Bursar. If you want to make an instalment plan, please contact the Business Manager Mr Hunt. An instalment plan on Compass will be in operation by the end of next week.

2018 – Yr 10 – Rubicon Camp

Dates: Monday 5th to Friday 9th March 2018

The camp is in week six of term one, a great way to start the year and get to meet new friends.

In 2017 we went horse riding, rock climbing, high ropes, mountain bike riding and a river experience (rafting and canoeing). Next year we will possibly be bush walking as well! Check out the photo displays in the B wing link corridor and in TC9.

Expression of interest forms are available in the main office, from the Yr 9 Co-ordinators and from Mrs Arneil (Rubicon Camp Co-ordinator).

Thirty-six lucky students get to go to Rubicon and it is the only year level camp for Year 10’s. A deposit of $100 is due by this Friday 3rd November if you wish to be considered for this camp.

Any questions... Mr Wheatley, Mr MacKinnon and Mrs Arneil went to Rubicon this year... feel free to ask.

2018 – Yr 7 – Forest Edge CYC

Dates: Monday 19th to Wednesday 21st March 2018

2018 – Yr 10,11 & 12 –  Central Australia Camp

Mrs Dempster is awaiting deposit payments. Written information regarding this camp is available outside the Year 10 & 11 Co-ordinators office.

You have not seen Australia until you’ve seen Central Australia.

Make the most of this fantastic opportunity, run during the last week of term 2 and the school holidays. No new work is covered in Year 12 VCE classes during this time, so you don’t miss out on school work.
