Reconciliation Week Speeches

On the 2nd June Mrs Keen took William McDonald, Lilian Bell and Jessica Mulligan to Moree Secondary College to present a Reconciliation speech. The topic was ‘Our History, Our Story, Our Future’. We were able to take with us our friends Courtney Brazel, Addison Swan, Camille Maunder, Jacinta Davis, Arabella Drogemuller, Bronte Davison, Matilda Hayes, Annie Keen, Samuel Owen, Angus Coleman, Alex Macey, Ethan Farrell and Oliver Morse. Jess went first, presenting a beautiful speech about going through her Grandpa's shed and finding Aboriginal rocks. Will then presented a great informative speech about Reconciliation. Lastly, Lily delivered a wonderful speech making us realise how lucky we are to have Reconciliation and where we would be without it.

Will won first place,  Jess came second and Lily won third place. We had a  party after our speeches with sandwiches, pies, rolls, chicken wings and mini chicken kievs. We all had a great day and Mrs Keen was extremely proud of our hard work and achievements.
