Sacrament of Confirmation

On Sunday 5th June, students from St Philomena’s School, along with children from the Parish of St Francis Xavier, received the Sacrament of Confirmation. The Mass was officiated by the Bishop Micheal Kennedy, along with parish priest, Father Paul McCabe.

Although the weather was cold and windy, many families and friends filled the church to celebrate the occasion. Congratulations is extended to the students who participated in receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation. Many thanks to Father Paul McCabe for the spiritual guidance he provided to the children and their families, during their preparation.
