Principal's Report

Year 7 BBQ
This week we had our annual Year 7 Barbeque. It was a terrific night where students and parents mingled for some food and entertainment.
Highlights of the night included:
- Our School Captains and Year 7 Leaders. I am extraordinarily proud of the genuine student voice, talent and engagement at Staughton College.
- Artists from the Festival for Healthy Living providing drumming and stilt walking activities.
- The edible garden themed biscuits and pizza
It was great to speak to families about their child’s move to secondary school. I even caught up with two parents who were students at the school in the time I have been here! I look forward to us continuing to develop our relationship with your families throughout your child’s time at our school.
I would like to thank Angela Watters for her coordination of the event.
Parent Student Teacher Interviews
Please note that parent student teacher interviews are scheduled for the first official day of Term 2 Tuesday 14th April. There are no scheduled classes on this day.
Child Safety
Our school focus on learning, effort and respect lived through our motto of try persevere achieve are underpinned by an understanding that Child Safety is a paramount responsibility of the school community. Staughton College has a number of guiding policies regarding Child Safety on our web site located at http://www.staughtoncollege.vic.edu.au/administration/.
Please take some time to make yourself aware of these and contact the school should you have any concerns regarding Child Safety.
