Term 4

Term 4 was off to a flying start with our first ever raft building camp. Year 9 & 10 Outdoor Education students from both campuses enjoyed the experience of building rafts from materials provided and carrying fire down the river with them. Two weeks later our Year 11 students paddled a massive 90 KM from upstream of Cobram down to below Tocumwal. Both expeditions occurred in sections of the Murray River. Students learnt about minimal impact travel and some Indigenous and Contemporary history of the area. Both groups engaged well in both the practical and theory learning. I would like to thank all the staff who helped contribute to these trips as well as Latrobe University for assisting to run the Year 9/10 experience.  Well done to all involved!
