Multicultural Day

Multicultural Day

Continuing with their Cultural diversity theme, Year 12 planned a whole school lunchtime activity highlighting the cultural diversity of our school. Students chose a country to showcase with foods and traditional costumes and props.

Our leader for the activity Austin George worked tirelessly with facilities, canteen, hospitality and music faculties to orchestrate a perfect event.

We had the following countries and cuisine on display:

Italy – Pizzas, Pasta and Cannoli   China- Fried rice, India –Chicken and Chickpea curry and Henna tattoos Tonga-Various flavoured Otai, Hawaiian Fruit Salad, Island Bracelets

Australia- homemade Sausage rolls ,Meat pies and drinks  America-Hot dogs and Chocolate chip cookies, Mexico-Tacos and Churros, Japan –Sushi, Onigiri and origami activities

A great lunchtime activity was had by the whole school community.
