Primary School

Year 4 Excursion

As part of our Integrated Studies unit on First Contacts, Monday 17th July Year 4's visited Captain Cook’s Cottage and Polly Woodside.

At Captain Cook’s Cottage, the students enjoyed learning about Captain Cook’s treasure chest and travelled back in time. On Polly Woodside, the students explored the inner workings of a ship.

They experienced where people slept, they were able to steer the ship, scrub floors and saw what people ate. A very enjoyable day.
