Term 3 Sporting School Grant ~ Athletics

As part of our Term 3 Sporting Schools Grant, students from K-6 will be starting athletics for sport on a Wednesday for 5 sessions under the specialist coaching direction of Andrew Frend (Zoom Athletics Gunnedah). A Compass event will go out today and will be due by Wednesday morning at 9am.

Activities will include skills to benefit students leading into the school athletics carnival on. K-2 will be the first group on a Wednesday starting their sport at 11:20-12:00pm. Yr 3-6 will commence at 12:00-1pm. We are grateful to Sporting School Schools for granting us this opportunity. Mr Frend will work with students up until our school athletics carnival on Wednesday 9th August (Week 4) and children who progress to the Diocesan Carnival on Friday 18th August will have the opportunity to fine tune skills and techniques with Mr Frend during Week 5.
