Level 6 - Term 3

We warmly welcome all the new and pre-existing families to Glen Waverley Primary School and another wonderful period of learning in Term Three. Term Two was packed full of a range of learning opportunities that demonstrated the student’s persistence, zest for learning and continued growth, including the Winter Round Robin, Education Week and the Student Led Conferences. The students demonstrated an immense degree of teamwork and motivation throughout these experiences.

Term Three might just be the busiest period yet for our Year Sixes! We continue to provide experiences that will challenge and stretch student learning, from rich classroom experiences to various Innovation programs. Our Innovation classes this term are designed to extend students and develop lifelong skills, in areas including Mathematics, English, Robotics and Art. Beyond Innovations, our much-anticipated 2023 GWPS Production and Year 6 Camp are set to occur later in the term, with students unbelievably excited! With so many incredible events happening within the year level, our You Can Do It program will continue to focus on fostering responsible and flexible students who are ready to tackle any challenges that come their way.

Please expect further information regarding Year 6 Camp to be communicated to you during this term, as it is our wish for students and families to be primed and organised for this amazing milestone. If you or your child has any questions or queries about camp, please feel free to come and speak with any member of the Year Six team. We available to support in any way we can.
