Respectful Relationships

This semester, we are continuing to implement the Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships curriculum across the school. Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships aligns with our school values, our educational philosophy and our school culture. As we continue on our journey this year, we will be undertaking a range of initiatives and professional learning as a school community. This Semester students have been exploring the topics Emotional Literacy, Personal Strengths, Positive Coping and Problem Solving.

Library

Did you know that there is a Respectful Relationship book section in the school library? New books and resources are added each term. Students are encouraged to take these books home to read with their families. Next time you borrow a book look out for the rainbow coloured stickers.

Foundation

Through the RRRR Curriculum, Foundation students have been learning about how to recognise and identify their own Emotions. They are encouraged to use language such as ….How are you feeling today?

Year 1 and 2

In Grade one and two, students were presented with a range of personal strengths. They were asked to choose one that they identified with and were challenged to think about how their strengths could help them be a good friend and family member.
