STEM in Y5/6

It's been a busy few months in STEM for our year 5s and 6 students. Our year 5s delved into health and wellbeing, building some technologies that could keep us fit and well, whilst our year 6s explored energy poverty in a developing country and some of the solutions that have been designed to help tackle this. 

We all got to write letters to children in PNG telling them who we were and what we liked, as well as build solar-powered lights with Origin Energy and Solar Buddy that would help them stop using kerosene lamps to complete their homework. We can't wait to see the photos when they arrive.
