Principal's News 

All students attending St Louis de Montfort's Aspendale have the right to feel safe. The care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people is a fundamental responsibility of all within our school.

Good afternoon families,

 

Another busy week at St Louis. The Year 6 students have participated in a STEM excursion, Friday sport and the Yr 6 Sustainability Leaders participated in the Big Green School's Conference. Year 5 excursion to Bi-Centennial Park and Chelsea beach and school tours for 2024 families.

On Wednesday 24 May we are having the offical opening of our new Administration building. Father Andrew will bless the building and I will cut the ribbon.

 

Parent -Teacher Conferences

Thank you to our wonderful teachers for all the work they put into these meetings and I hope the information you received was informative and encouraging as to your child's learning journey. Thank you to the parents who attended and for the positive comments on our new Administration building.

 

First Eucharist for Year 4 

On Sunday 21 May Yr. 4JM and Yr. 4NB will be celebrating their First Eucharist. Please keep these children in your prayers.

 

TeamKids 

Team Kids have shared their Program's statistic and I have included some of these:

  • Your school families' rating of TeamKids 9/10
  • Retention 100%
  • The principal's rating of TeamKids 8/10

Uniform Shop

Lisa will be away for the next 2 weeks so we will have some volunteers running the uniform shop and the hours will be published in an Operoo. 

 

School Advisory Council meeting.

The School Advisory Council (SAC) will meet at 7 pm on Tuesday 23 May in the Board room.

 

Working Bee 

Our next working bee is on Saturday 17 June, from 8am 12pm. All families are welcome to attend for any portion of the time. A list of jobs will be published in the newsletter closer to the date.
