Senior Girls Football

Last Wednesday, 31st July, Year 10-12 girls competed in the Girls senior football tournament at Pedrina Park. All girls were well behaved and displayed great sportsmanship throughout the whole day. I am very impressed at how well they represented the school in all aspects on the day. Unfortunately, we only come away with 1 win for the day but the girls had some really close games, only losing by a point or 2 to some of the top teams. All players put in 100% effort all day and there were some stand out performances across the board. Emily Pitt's was awarded best player for the day for her ability to outrun her players, strong tackles, smart play and overall outstanding performance.

Also a special mention to Ruby Lang, Emily McGregor, Sophie Robinson, Mandy Malseed and our student teacher, Miss Murphy who helped out with umpiring, first aid and coaching roles throughout the day. All girls also helped with goal umpiring throughout the day in order to see we had all roles filled. It was great to see Baimbridge filling all roles on the day and also helping out the other teams when needed. You should all be very proud of your efforts.

Well done.
