Compass is our means of communicating timely information to discrete groups of parents and staff members. Through Compass, information pertaining to a single year level, multiple year levels or the whole school can be disseminated quickly and effectively throughout each week. Compass is an effective way to remind parents of impending events and obligations. The Compass platform also allows parents to give permission for student involvement in incursions/excursions as well as to make payments. Compass –‘Documentation’ contains staff email contact details, policies and Compass User Guide. Compass is the go to destination for most parent questions

Information Sessions are scheduled as various times so the teachers or presenters can speak with parents on a specific topic.

Parent/Teacher Interviews are scheduled twice per year so that teachers and parents can discuss individual student’s learning needs and achievements.

Email – Teacher/Parent is the vehicle for professional conversation between parents and the class teacher or specialist teacher.

Formal Appointments can be arranged by teachers and parents via email or in person.

Urgent Information through a Phone Call to the Office is a means for parents to convey timely messages to teachers regarding student management and appointments.

Informal Chats are encouraged prior to the start of the school day or after school. This is often the most effective line of communication between the parents and the teachers.
