Pay it Forward

A note of appreciation...

We wish to extend our sincere gratitude to one of our wonderful students; Peter B-T (2A), who took it upon himself to donate some of his own savings to the School.  This was a very thoughtful gesture and we admire and appreciate Peter's generosity.  Such a kind act, embodies our school values of Respect, Responsibility and Cooperation.  Great job Peter, thanks so much.  You're a legend!!!

Also a huge thanks to one of our Level 1 Parents, Leah Crockett, who generously donated a large number of brand new items from her workplace, Koh Living.  These items were gratefully accepted by the PFA and will be used for fundraising throughout the year.

It goes so fast!

Every year, the Level 6 Students are responsible for fundraising to pay for their Graduation celebrations.  In honour of the momentous occasion that marks the end of the Primary years and the transition into Secondary School, we have in past years, held an official Ceremony, a Disco and Three Fun Activities for the Seniors in the week leading up to Graduation.

The Level 6 Students, Teachers and Parents are incredibly grateful for the support they receive from the whole school community, in helping them to raise funds that are attributed to Graduation.

We understand that children in the younger year levels do not directly benefit from this in the immediate sense, however, in the spirit of "paying it forward" we ask you to consider that in future years (before you know it!) it will be your child's turn to Graduate and in turn, you will be hoping for the whole school's support to ensure the tradition continues, of a fitting farewell.

The Level 6 Graduation Committee encourages every family to maintain the culture of giving, that we are so proud of at CHPS and support Graduation fundraising in any way you can - it may be as simple as your child participating in a "Dress up day" with a gold coin donation, selling chocolates, or purchasing items from a sausage sizzle or stall.

We look forward to the year ahead. A big THANK YOU from the Level 6 Graduation Committee!
