Multicultural Festival 

The 2019 Multicultural festival appeared to be not possible due to issues with allocating students to billets, until Mr Costa came up with an alternative arrangement involving the students staying at a local motel. Students from Miller High School were introduced to the school at an assembly last Thursday and the following day students performed their stories for us in a unique drama performance, that has had a long lasting impact on our student body. Many of the students also visited classes to present their stories to our children and answer questions. It was a quick visit but worthwhile for all involved. The students from Miller High School were able to get a glimpse of country life and a better understanding of rural Australia. Thank you Mr Costa for your enduring commitment to ensuring our community has a greater understanding of students who are refugees.
