Principal's Report

Dear Parents and Families,

RETURN TO ONSITE LEARNING

It was wonderful to hear the news today that students will be returning to onsite learning this Friday. Once again, thank you to all members of our school community for your supportive response to the recent circuit breaker. 

We have been very fortunate to have Mrs Hepworth and Mrs Lipshut here this week to supervise students in onsite learning. Thank you also to the other staff members who have come onsite to support them. Included are some photos of the students at work and 3D playground models. Students were given the challenge of designing a new playground for the school and writing a persuasive text to convince us to implement their designs. We were suitably impressed and will endeavour to adopt some of their suggestions. 

REPORT WRITING

Currently staff are involved in moderation and report writing so that your child’s report can be as informative as possible. It is certainly hard to believe that the holidays are only three weeks away. 

BOOK CLUB

Book club has arrived and we will endeavour to send them home with the students this Friday.

PARENTS AND FRIENDS PIE DRIVE

Last week the order forms were sent home with the students. Orders are due in next Wednesday 9th June.   Delivery date is Wednesday 23th & Thursday 24th June. 

QUEENS BIRTHDAY

Monday 14th June is a public holiday. There will be no school on that day. 

Enjoy the week ahead. I’m looking forward to everyone being back onsite this Friday.
