Cross Country Run

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day weatherwise to run our first all school cross country event! It was held on Friday 30th April, and everyone was super excited to see which house would take away the most points.

Each year level (or age group) had a set time through the day to run the circuit around the school and surrounding streets, and there were plenty of teachers and parents placed throughout the track to offer support and encouragement along the way! 

Some students ran, some walked, but all of them gave it a shot and we couldn't be more proud.

The top runners of the day in each of the age categories were able to go through to the District run coming up on May 20, but for the rest of the students it was fun, fun, fun as they ran, walked, shuffled, danced and sang as best they could to see who's house would chalk up the most points for the day!

These were the House placing results from Cross Country. The students were awarded house points for finishing the race, finishing in the top 20 and house spirit (cheering and dance offs throughout the day).

1st place = Blair

2nd place = Brice

3rd place = Fletcher

4th place = Lithgow

It was an incredible day for everyone, thank you so much to all that were involved in putting the day together, we know it was well worth the time!
