AFL - We congratulate Jake on his success in making it through to the second round of AFL trials. This was a terrific achievement. Both rounds of AFL trials took place in Templestowe.

Whilst unsuccessful in the second round, Jake enjoyed the experience and should feel proud of his efforts.

Basketball - We are pleased to be able to share the news that Cooper and Charlie were amongst 15 players in their division who were selected for the Eastern Conference trials held on Wednesday 26th of May. There are 4 stages in total and getting through to the second round is a great achievement against the best players in the division.

In addition, Cooper and Charlie took part in the invitation only U14 Basketball Victoria Male Talent ID Camp for metro athletes. This High Performance Development Camp was held over 2 days in April with over 150 other athletes and some of Basketball Victoria’s elite coaches.

From this, Cooper and Charlie were further selected to attend the Basketball Victoria U14 Futures Camp to be held in June. It is great for the boys to be identified by Basketball Victoria and we would like to wish them all the very best with their camp in June.

Tia and Ava attended the SSV basketball trials in Knox where they competed against students from the local area. There was some tough competition on the day. Congratulations to Tia who was successful in making it through to the second round of competition. Tia competed in the second round this week, on Wednesday, 26th May. She gave her best effort on the day, however was unsuccessful in advancing through.

Well done Tia and Ava for representing Bimbadeen and for your selection to attend this SSV event.
