STATE SWIMMING REPORT 2021

MR CHRIS JOYCE

On Thursday 22nd April, a small team of students travelled to Melbourne to compete in the State Swimming Finals, following first place results at the Loddon Mallee Swimming Finals last term.

All students performed exceptionally well against the strongest swimmers in the State and produced some great results and times.

The highlight of the day was the silver medal performance of Jessica Louw in the 14 year girls 50m Freestyle Final. An outstanding achievement and we congratulate her on her result.

Others to perform well include Eliza Everett, who finished 7th in the 15 year girls 50m breaststroke, and the girls 14 year 4 x 50m Freestyle Relay team composed of Jessica Louw, Caitlin McKissick, Georgie Cameron and Mia Wong, who also finished in 7th place.

Huge thank you to the parents of the girls who escorted them to Melbourne to compete. Your support of the College is greatly appreciated.
