July has seen us return to remote learning. Students in Year 7 & 8 Library English classes have been learning about different types of websites during Zoom classes with Mrs Viner. “Unpacking Websites” a PowerPoint created by Mrs Viner is available on our Library website for easy access and to assist students with their English research task.
The Library Website is transforming into a “One stop shop” for information and now includes links to a range of information resources - The Age, Enhance TV, Financial Review, Oxford Digital texts, Simon, State Library, Sydney Morning Herald, Trove ( National Library), World Book Encyclopedia. Thanks to Mr Eilers' skills in coordinating these links. Discover new information today – join an external library online State Library membership is open to all Victorians. An amazing array of online information.
Book trailers – watch a book trailer on “The Karate Kid” on our website for a change of pace or read an online review.
Books can be reserved online on the Library Website and collected from front reception during remote learning. Students will be emailed when book is ready for collection. Email jviner@sjcbe.catholic.edu.au for your library queries or questions.
