Principal's Message

Dear Students, Parents, Carers and Families,

Due to the staggered pick up times the timings for Friday are F-2 and 3-6 is below:

  • Foundation to Year 2 – 2:20 to 2:30pm
  • Year 3 to Year 6           – 2:30 to 2:40pm

Remote Online Learning Feedback Survey

This morning we have sent out a short survey of 13 questions to families via Konnective to provide important constructive feedback to us about your family's experiences with the recent remote and online learning. We would be greatly appreciated if as many of our families could complete the survey as soon as possible.

Your collective feedback will provide important evaluative information and allow us to see what we can continue to strengthen and change to improve our focus, practice and outcomes for all.

We hope you are able to take a few minutes to complete the survey and I thank you in advance for your time in supporting our school’s continual growth and improvement in being the best we can be for our students and community!

Paperless Student Semester One Reports

For the first time, all student semester 1 reports were emailed to families yesterday. By all accounts the process went very smoothly with only one glitch which we have rectified today. If you have not received a report ,please contact us so we can check your email details etc.

The reports have reported on both the ‘at school’ and ‘remote learning’ at home but the learning progression levels have not been included this time in line with advice from the Department of Education and Training due to the remote learning from home period.

If you have any further queries with regards to the reports please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Enrol for 2021!

If you have a sibling who will be coming to Maramba next year, please come and collect an enrolment form from the office. The sooner we know our numbers the better we can plan.

If you know of someone interested in our school for next year please ask to contact the school about our virtual tours.

Happy and Safe Holidays

Needless to say we have had a very different term. As a community we have demonstrated a great resilience, grit and determination to ensure that we have made the very best out of the situation we have found ourselves in. It seems inevitable that we will continue to draw upon this in the coming weeks and months.

However, amongst all of the changes and challenges we have faced, we have remained connected as a community and generally thrived as learners. We have achieved many successes of which we can be exceptionally proud of as a student, a family, a staff and community. As a school, we are immensely honoured to be able to provide support, learn and grow together as part of this journey.

On behalf of all the staff at Maramba, I would like to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday and we look forward to seeing everyone back at school for Term 3 on Monday 13th July!

Take care and stay safe!

Kind regards,

Darren Wallace
