School Noticeboard

NAPLAN

In May, students in Year 3, Year 5, Year 7 and Year 9 will participate in NAPLAN Online. NAPLAN is a point-in-time assessment that allows parents to see how their child is progressing in literacy and numeracy against the national standard and compared with their peers throughout Australia. At the classroom level, NAPLAN provides additional information to support teachers’ professional judgement about student progress.  Information has been sent home to families about NAPLAN.

For any further information please contact:

Mrs Melanie Scott - Head of Teaching and Learning (Primary) or

Mrs Hayley Catt– Head of Teaching and Learning (Secondary)

who are the NAPLAN coordinators.

SEQTA Reminders

If you have previously used SEQTA please ignore the details below. However, if you are having troubles with logging in to SEQTA please contact our IT Support team at help@moamagrammar.nsw.edu.au

New families please read through details below:

Our Student-Teacher-Parent/Guardian learning and repository system here at school is called SEQTA and contains three core parts; SEQTA Teach, SEQTA Learn and SEQTA Engage.

  • SEQTA Teach, includes curriculum planning, mapping, assessment and reporting, pastoral care and analytics and is used by the staff.
  • SEQTA Learn, is the student online environment. This environment is accessible on any device over the internet and at school. Thereby giving students access to everything they need to learn more effectively, and tools that allow them to stretch themselves, be more interactive with what they are learning and achieve better outcomes.
  • SEQTA Engage, is the online environment for parents/guardians so you can access up-to-date information quickly and easily about the school and your child/rens learning.

All new families should have received an email at the start of the school year from noreply@seqta.com.au with the subject title "Welcome to SEQTA Engage". Please ensure to check your junk email folder if it does not appear in your inbox. This email contains the link that will enable you to set up your SEQTA Engage account. Please click on this link as soon as you get the email and follow the instructions provided. If you have difficulties or do not receive the email contact our IT Support team on help@moamagrammar.nsw.edu.au

Below is a link to a YouTube video explaining how to access and use each part of the SEQTA Engage app or website. We look forward to providing families with the features and functionality of SEQTA Engage over the coming months.
