Sports Day

Toolamba Sports Day

Congratulations to everyone across the school who participated in our annual Toolamba Athletics Day. We had amazing weather and a great turn out of parents and friends to cheer, take photos, help with events, and spectate! Cheering, roars and screaming of House Colour songs began the day as students, led by their House Captains made their way over to the Community Oval.

Students are to be commended for their great sportsmanship and sportswoman-ship as cheers of encouragement and excitement could be heard throughout the day. High Jump especially had many people holding their breath as some great jumps were landed.

We finished off the day with House Relays, cheering frantically at our senior students while enjoying the fun and craziness of watching all our junior students complete their own version of a relay as well.

House Captains Seb Lemma and Isabella Birchmore (Bayunga) Belinda Valentin and Tyson Jeffers (Goulburn) and Luke Calvert and Nyla Anderson (Hovell) showed tremendous leadership throughout the day.

For Individual Grade Level champions, please see the list and photos below.

Tatura District Sports

Toolamba students in Grades 3-6 joined schools from Tatura Primary and Sacred Heart Primary at Tatura's Frank Howley Oval for our District Sports. Again, we were blessed with amazing weather for the day.

Many of our Toolamba students could be seen proudly sporting clusters of ribbons on their t-shirts and hats throughout the day. It was also great to see such a high level of participation and enthusiasm.

A few dropped batons didn’t spoil Toolamba Primary School’s amazing comradery and support for each other during the relays. Despite coming in 3rd place across all 4 age groups, there is a bucketload of potential for our athletes to do well in years to come.

Well done everyone, it was a fantastic day!
