Principal's Report

Dear Families,

It is hard to believe that tomorrow is the last day of school for Term 1. Time has certainly flown! It has been fantastic to have a term which was not interrupted by bouts of remote learning. Term 1 has ended on a high with children participating in the Toolamba Athletics last Friday, our multi-age day on Monday and on Tuesday the Tatura and District Sports. Thank you to those wonderful parents who stepped in and helped on both sports days, your assistance was greatly appreciated by the staff. What a wonderful example you set for your children. Thank you also to Jayne and Craig for all their efforts, the days ran very smoothly. Our students are to be commended upon their behaviour.

NEW CHOOKS

Many thanks to the Varcoe family who have donated some chooks. It is lovely to have the hen house full again. We are looking forward to fresh eggs and some cooking.

FAREWELL

Unfortunately, we will be farewelling two families on Friday. The Thompson and Mahy families. We wish Tiarna, Casey, and Elouise all the best at their new schools. They will certainly be missed by staff and students.

FINAL ASSEMBLY

Final assembly will be in the amphitheatre at 1.30pm. For those families who are in isolation a WebEx invitation was sent out earlier today so you can share in the event. At the assembly, awards will be given out and the Easter Raffle drawn.

AIR PURIFIERS

We have had another delivery of air purifiers, so we are now able to have one in every learning space which is fantastic. The Rapid Antigen testing program will remain in place for the first four weeks of Term 2.

Have a lovely holiday with your family.

Regards Heather
