Dear Primary Families,
Welcome back to Term 2! I hope that the Easter Break provided you with an opportunity to spend some valuable time with your families during this sacred time.
As a sport tragic, I was again captivated by the Masters Golf Tournament over the holidays. Naturally, I found myself making the connections between the golf tournament and the school year. Just as we have four terms in the school year, the golfers play the same 18 holes for four consecutive rounds. Each round brings with it its own unique challenges, and players use their experience in the previous round to help them negotiate the rounds ahead. As we move into Term 2, I encourage us all to do the same as we return reinvigorated and energised for the new term ahead.
Dear God,
In these days of Easter,
we know that You have a great and beautiful love for us.
Help us to walk with the Risen Jesus toward the joy which lasts forever.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
It was great to see so many of our families for our first round of Parent/Teacher/Student Interviews today. Like our Term 1 Reports, these interviews provide an important source of feedback for our boys. The next round of Parent-Teacher Interviews will take place online next Wednesday 27 April.
Class photos for all our Primary classes will take place this Thursday morning. Boys are expected to be in full formal winter uniform for their photo, with appropriate haircuts.
Our inter-house Primary Cross Country Carnival will take place this Friday 22 April.
All events will start and finish on McMahon Oval, in front of the John Eales Grandstand.
Parents are welcome to attend.
Each boy will be expected to participate to the best of their ability.
