Composting Awareness Week' runs from May 1-7

St Joseph's has been trying extra hard to compost this week. Each class at St Joseph's currently has its own compost bin which is collected by the Year 6 Green team and added to the school compost. The Green Team then uses the fertilizer created to fertilise plants and vegetables in the Adventure Playground.

Waste Free Wednesday is Back!

A couple of years ago St Joseph's reduced their waste by one large bin. 

At present we are collecting 10 large bins of rubbish every week! Our goal is to reduce our waste and impact on the environment. Each Wednesday we are aiming to be a waste free school, help our students be waste free, and help reduce landfill.
