Thirroul Youth Drop-in

Thirroul Youth Drop-in (TYD) is a free program, for young people aged 10-16 years, to come along, meet new people and learn new skills. TYD runs on Wednesday afternoons from 2.30-5.00pm (during school terms only), at Thirroul Neighbourhood Centre (located inside Thirroul District Community Centre & Library, 352-358 Lawrence Hargrave Drive, Thirroul). 

A healthy afternoon tea is provided at every session. We have a great range of activities including card games, books, a pool table, board games, puzzles, arts and crafts, trivia, bingo, and video games. To celebrate the end of term, we host a movie night with pizza and popcorn. I have attached the program flyer and I would like to ask that you share this great program with your students and their families, in your newsletter, and/or on your social media sites. I can also arrange for some hard copies to be delivered to your school (free of charge).

The Illawarra Disability Options Expo – Making Connections with Community Supports

The annual Illawarra Disability Options Expo will take place on Thursday 26 May 2022 from 11 am to 4 pm at the Fraternity Club, 11 Bourke Street, Fairy Meadow.  

The Expo helps link people with a disability and their carers to over 70 product and service providers. In addition to displays and information desks, the Expo will feature an NDIS information session (10.30 am - 11.30 am).
