Persistent, consistent, insistent

Gallery Image

The aim of CSPS and the people within is a strong commitment and shared vision.  This is seen, heard and felt in the school policies and procedures, learning approaches and student welfare to ensure we have the most productive, caring and supportive learning environment.

It is imperative that we are persistent in our approach, consistent in our follow up and insistent on high expectations.

No late payments

Over the years, late organisation of students attending excursions and inschool activities has been accepted.  We are no longer in a position to do so.  There are numerous reasons, one being that the costing of events is arranged weeks in advanced.

The main forms of communication of events are:

  • Notices
  • Flexibuzz posts
  • School website events calendars

As a result of both School Council and Finance Sub Committee expectations, late payments, after the due date, will not be accepted.

It is imperative that families take responsibility that a due date is in fact a due date.

It is equally important that staff, and the office, know that no late payment for school excursions and in-school activities will be accepted (unless authorised by the Principal class).

Thank you to all the families, staff and community members that completed the online survey.  We received 84 responses to the key questions relating to possible impact on CSPS with the announcement of new schools in the Cranbourne/Clyde areas.

The full responses will be tabled at the School Council meeting on Wednesday, 23 May, with a written response provided to the Minister of Education.

See below a visual representation of the key question of what proposal best suits your needs.

Any questions , please feel free to chat with any member of the School Council.

What does inclusion mean to you?

The Department of Education is building an education system that produces excellence and reduces the impact of disadvantage. An inclusive education system will enable every child and young person to learn in a safe, positive and supportive environment in the setting best suited to their needs.

Inclusive education means that all members of every school community are valued and supported to fully participate, learn, develop and succeed within an inclusive school culture.

PROTECT Children

Protecting children and young people from abuse is our responsibility.

The Victorian Government is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people. As part of the Victorian Government’s commitment to implementing the recommendations of the Betrayal of Trust report, which found that more must be done to prevent and respond to child abuse in our community, there is a new regulatory landscape surrounding child safety, underpinned by the new Child Safe Standards.

The Child Safe Standards are compulsory minimum standards for all Victorian early childhood services and schools, to ensure they are well prepared to protect children from abuse and neglect
