Years 7 - 12 Choir, Celebration Night 2017
Celebration Night is such a special occasion - the coming together of our whole School community gives us all a great sense of pride and reminds us what a wonderful Kilvington 'family' we have.
Many thanks to Holly Mirmilstein nee Dean (Kilvonian, Peer year 2007) and Cr. Margaret Esakoff (Kilvonian, Peer year 1970) for joining us on the night to help present awards.
Thank you to our outgoing Senior School Leaders for 2017. We appreciate your wonderful contributions to our community over the past twelve months.
Congratulations to our Senior School Leaders for 2018. We look forward to your valuable input in the coming year.
We are excited to report that during November we broke ground at the site of our new Sport Centre.
Opportunities to be involved
We warmly invite you to contribute to the development and fit-out of the Kilvington Sport Centre. The Kilvington community is a connected and tight-knit one, and we are excited to take you on this journey, and for you to have the opportunity to feel part of this important new development.
We are exceedingly grateful for any support that you are able to give. And remember, all donations are tax deductible.
Come along on the journey
A microsite has been developed to provide you with more detail about the Sport Centre including videos from our students, staff and parents. We have also developed an animated ‘fly through’ to give you a greater sense of the external and internal environment of the facility. You will also be able to make your donation and find out more via this page – www.kilvington.vic.edu.au/sportsfund.

A highlight of Celebration Night each year is the presentation of the Judy Allen award. Each year, a member of the School community is presented with the prestigious Judy Allen Award. It is awarded to members of the community who have made an outstanding contribution to the School.
This special Award has been named in honour of Judy Allen, an active member of the Kilvington community whose passion and enthusiasm for the School has been reflected in her involvement in a wide range of roles, including student, parent, staff member and Board member, just to name a few.
This year’s most worthy winner is a past Kilvington Board member, John Allin who tragically died in August this year.
John Allin, was a journalist and public relations practitioner, who served on the Kilvington Board from 2004-2011. He was a key supporter of the School’s transition to coeducation, which has proven to be an outstanding success.
John was the creative mind behind Kilvington’s sponsorship of the Melbourne Press Club, which has given our students the opportunity to attend and contribute to topical presentations delivered by dignitaries, politicians, academics and the media.
He is survived by his wife Dallas, who received the award on behalf of the family, his daughters Jess and Jacqui, both Kilvington Alumni, and grand-daughters Layla and Maya, who gave him so much joy since they were born last year.
