Art News

Thank you to so many generous parents who continue to donate the bottle tops. They are slowly increasing and we should be able to begin our school project in a couple of weeks. Please keep them coming, we still need a lot more.

The Foundation students have been busy cutting shapes from paper in their ‘Hand  Vase’ picture. This will be on display shortly.

The Junior students loved working with magi-clay and blending colours throughout the clay.

Most of the middle students have now completed their masks and are now out on display.

The senior students have started learning the traditional art of Batik. For this we will be using cold wax however- for safety reasons. Already, the students have come up with some fantastic designs.

Chinese Incursion

A couple of weeks ago, all students took part in a whole incursion with China. The students were able to see and talk live with people in China. They played games and saw some examples of Chinese art. This was a fun and enjoyable session for all involved.
