Morrisby Interviews

A large number of Year 9 students completed their Morrisby Interviews, having the opportunity to sit down and discuss careers linked to their Morrisby testing. Students were appreciative to sit down with a Careers advisor from the Department and unpack their answers and strengths.

Year 9 Camp

Sixty Year 9 students travelled to Kinglake this week with Elizabeth Fagan and Rena Bennett. Camps are great to get out of the classroom, build cohort cohesion and see students in a different environment.  At the time of writing this the weather forecast was looking good and hopefully the campers will all go home with some great experiences to talk about.

Year 9 Community Engagement Program

This was the last week of the Youth Justice Program for our Year 9 Community Engagement class and some of the highlights were the fire hoses at Belmont CFA, Footy at Skilled stadium and mock trials in The Magistrates Court.

Skyline Foundation

Three lucky Year 10 students were interviewed by Skyline Foundation for a chance to receive support towards their ultimate goal of University. I have been working with Skyline for a couple of years now and this is a tremendous opportunity, both academically and fiscally.
