Year 10

Pathways Maths 

This week Ms Kaspar kindly allowed us into her classroom to see what her Year 10 Pathways Maths students were up to.

The students were partaking in the topic of 'Measurement' and completing their  Common Assessment Task where they were designing their own dream house.

“I am designing my own dream house.  I have to work out the measurements and the area for my house” – Courtney Collings

“I had to work out the area for each lot to figure out which one I would prefer to build on. You work out the area by multiplying the length by the width” – Mac Beckwith

“I am enjoying working on this task.  It helps me relate Maths to my life where I might build a house one day” – Daniel Robson

“I really enjoy drawing and creating so it was nice to incorporate my Art into my Maths” – Petra Meyers
