The recent camp to Central Australia went off without a hitch and was an amazing experience for all involved.
Well done everybody for making the camps so wonderful. A fantastic time was had by all and the students were a credit to the school.
Year 10 Captains
Dear friends and students, on Tuesday 3 May our Year 10's were set to compete in our annual Cross Country around Lilydale Lake. Unfortunately due to weather conditions our Cross Country had to be rescheduled to Friday 6 May.
Our school also did exceptionally well in the inter school Motocross competition and all the students that competed should feel very proud of their efforts.

Keys Please
Year 10 students
Monday 25 July
Periods 1 & 2
On Monday 25 July, your son/daughter will take part in a VicRoads Keys Please session. Whether or not they already have their Ls, this session will inform them of everything they need to know about making the most of the learner driver period.
Good drivers aren’t born. They are made. And the best way to become a good driver is to get plenty of driving experience.
The Keys Please student program covers:-
- Why 120 hours of driving practice?
- Importance of the partnership between supervising driver (parent) and learner driver (student)
- Stages of learning to drive
- Staying safe on your P's
- Resources that are available for Learner Drivers/Supervising Drivers
There is also an online parent/supervising driver resource to watch by going to www.vicroads.vic.gov.au and searching “Lessons from the Road”.
Year 9 Camp
Sunday 20 Nov - Friday 25 Nov
The CAMP EVENT is now on COMPASS for parents/guardians to make the first payment of $240. This payment must be paid by Friday 27 May.
The TOTAL COST for the six-day camp is $720.
PLEASE NOTE - Places are limited to 220 students. Once the places have been filled (after the first deposit has been received), students will then go on the waiting list.

2nd Payment - $240 Friday 22 July
3rd Payment - $240 Friday 9 September

Achievements
Please let us know if your child does something special – we would love to know and acknowledge their achievements.
Arriving on time to school - 8.30 am
Students should be arriving at school no later than 8.30 am. This gives them time to put bags in lockers and organise their books for Periods 1 and 2 and get ready for Home Group Assembly.
Home Group Assembly STARTS at 8.40 am.
It is imperative that students attend Home Group Assembly to receive important information.
Students who arrive late for school must provide a note from a parent/guardian.
