8.40 am to 5.00 pm

Late last term a group of enthusiastic students attended the practice session of the Formula 1 Grand Prix at Albert Park. 

These students give up their lunchtime each week and are working on a series of engine building tasks.  They are at present assembling a 4 cylinder Toyota Hilux engine and are about to start work on a 308 Holden V8. 

The day at Albert Park had a series of displays and information sessions aimed at school students and as well, there was the thrill of watching race cars on the track during the day. 

A number of students were fortunate enough to be invited into the pits and were able to meet, talk to and get the autographs of various well know drivers and their crews.
