Year 9

Home Economics 

Over the last week, the Year 9 Home Economics classes had to design, bake and decorate their own sponge cakes.

The work produced by the Year 9 students was fantastic, with many putting in a superb effort to decorate their own cakes to a high standard.

Year 11

Food Technology

On Friday 29 April, Year 11 Food Technology students (Unit 1) had the Home Economics kitchen smelling delicious!

Orange cakes with orange segments in syrup was the recipe of the day.

Year 12

Food Technology

Earlier this week, students in Ms Hatfield's Food Technology class make their own PASTA!

Year 9

Home Eco Food Preparation Skills

Thursday afternoon during Periods 5 and 6, Ms Cook's Food Preparation Skills class made delicious apple cupcakes!

Year 10 Textiles

Students are currently working on their skirt garment construction project.

Students developed a series of skirt designs, then decided upon a preferred option to produce.  This is a part of their design folio.

Technology Fees

All Technology elective subjects and all Home Economics Junior classes carry a fee to help cover the increasing cost of materials.

Notices will be issued to students and I ask that parents/guardians please assist the school by paying the contribution as soon as practicably possible.
