Mathletics Awards

Congratulations to Bella B , Liam G and Mackenzie P who have all received awards from Mathletics Australia for their efforts so far this year.

Environmental Group

On Thursday of week 1, various students from Largs Bay revegetated a section of sand dunes at Torrens Island. The students planted around 500 plants during this time. We planted indigenous grasses and creepers to help all the sand stay in place so the remains of Aboriginal bones returned to this area would not get disturbed again. It was a privilege to be involved in such a special event.

Basketball

The 6/7 Basketball ball team lost their grand final at the end of term 2 but it was a big effort by all.

Well done, Jordan, Ashton, Myles, Sam, Bowen & a special thanks to Max H who has filled in for us when ever we are a player short. He's been a big part of the team.

Netball

22/6 U 8 vs Westport Green

Lost 6 – 0

POD – Elektra

29/6 U 8 vs North Haven Purple

Parent feedback on the Australian Curriculum

“DECD would like to hear from parents/carers about the Australian Curriculum so that we can feed into the national process of curriculum monitoring. This curriculum is used by Reception to Year 10 teachers to plan what students will learn. Your opinions will be a valuable contribution to DECD’s feedback to the national monitoring process.
