"Have a Ball Day" Fri 9 Sept

Let's Help Outback Australian Schools & Communities in Remote Areas on FRIDAY 9 SEPT.
1 September 2016
On Friday 9 September, St Bede’s College will celebrate its “Footy Colours Day”. We ask that the boys wear their team colours with pride (regardless of the sport) and join in the activities that will be held on the day.
While we are NOT ASKING FOR ANY MONETARY DONATION on this day, the College is promoting the “Have a Ball” Foundation. This is a Foundation that distributes donated sporting equipment to outback schools and communities in remote areas of Australia.
We are showing our support by asking students and teachers to donate any type of ball.
Boys will be asked to bring their donation to a central area during recess so that we can make a presentation to the “Have a Ball” Foundation. We hope our efforts will assist those children who have less access to sporting equipment. Our aim is to have a positive and ongoing impact on the children in these remote communities.
We look forward to a fun day.
Thank you for your continued support.
