Legacy Week  

28 August to 3 September

In WW1 a soldier comforting his dying mate made a promise to care for his wife and children.  Legacy was created out of his promise in 1923.

The funds raised from this year’s Badge Appeal will help Legacy continue to assist over 80,000 widows and 1,800 children Australia wide.

Legacy provides a wide range of services including welfare, financial assistance, counselling and education.

St Bede’s College plans to support Legacy by having Year 9 students sell badges to our local community in the Mordialloc and Cheltenham shopping strips during Legacy Week.

St Bede’s College is more than willing to help Legacy……………… “Keep The Promise”   

"Have a Ball Day" Fri 9 Sep

Wear casual/footy/sports team clothes and donate your used sporting balls for outback Australians in remote schools and communities.
