Jack's Next Step

On 17 November 2014 Old Collegian Jack Vawdrey’s life changed.  A misjudged dive into a mate’s pool had catastrophic ramifications.  Jack fractured his neck and is classified as an incomplete quadriplegic.  Jack tackles his new set of challenges with tenacity and courage.  It is this steely determination that makes Jack a prime candidate for pioneering nerve transfer surgery performed by Austin Health.  Jacks progress has been amazing!

There is a long way to go but with the assistance of  “The Next Step” Spinal Cord Injury Recovery, Jacks desire and drive to be independent will happen.
