World Finals of F1 in Schools

The Infinitude Team

The students attended the Vernier Foundation lunch at Kooyong Tennis Club.  As well as enjoying a beautiful meal and pleasant surroundings they also presented to the engineering companies present. They talked about the F1 in Schools Competition, including skills they have gained from doing this and their plans for the future. They did a fantastic job managing to receive sponsorship and links from different businesses who are going to offer the students their expertise and hopefully financial support.

The students are extremely grateful for all of your support!

On Thursday, we were fortunate to be invited as a guest speaker to the Vernier Foundation's Youth Forum on STEM Education: Australia vs Germany at Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club.

A range of interesting points were raised over Germany's vocational system and how Australia could improve it's teaching of STEM in order to secure engineering and manufacturing jobs in the future.

A big thank you for the Vernier Society's donation towards our World Finals campaign!

As part of our continuing preparations for the F1 in Schools World Finals, we visited a STEM Conference at Kooyong Tennis Club on Thursday 11 August. We got to meet and talk to some of the leading engineers in Australia as well as present about ourselves and what we do.
