Green Team 

Our Green Team made sure the WHOLE yard was spotless on Monday, with a rubbish race around the school. They split into two groups and went on a race to collect as much rubbish as they could. The team with the most buckets of rubbish collected after 20 minutes were crowned the champions. All competitors were awarded with a kindness card for helping our environment but the winning team got two each! Congratulations to our winners who collected two whole buckets full of rubbish. 

Bottle Cap Mural 

It gives us great pleasure to announce the winner of our bottle cap mural design competition. The winner is... Oscar in 4T! It wasn't required, but he also attached a fact sheet explaining why he chose to create his design around the protection of bees as this is obviously something that is important to him. This quote that Oscar included from Albert Einstein definitely gave us food for thought: "If the bee disappears from the surface of the earth, man would have no more than four years to live."

Catriona from Bunnings is returning on the 13th of November, to assemble the mural and we will keep you all updated with progress shots. If your child would be interested in creating the mural, let them know they can come during lunch time on the 13th of November to help!

Nurdle November 

Happy 1st of November everyone! Today marks the beginning of Nurdle November. Whoever collects the most nurdles from our local beaches in the month of November will take out the title of Nurdle champion and win an awesome prize to match! The weather has been putting on a show for us and we know many of you will be getting down to the beach to enjoy the sunshine.

Green Team is on every Monday lunch time in Miss Baxter's classroom and everyone is welcome to come along whenever they like! No lock in contracts apply!
