Art News

What an incredible term it has been in the remote art room this term. From weaving to graffiti, mosaic to mobiles, this term has had it all across the different year levels.

The Year Three and Four students have been working on a special unit this term, exploring how art can be used to send a message to its audience. The specific message we have been working on relates to the human impact of plastic pollution in our oceans. We learnt about the organisation Take 3 and what they do to help reduce the amount of plastic pollution. One task the Year Three and Fours completed was to make a sculpture of a sea animal using recycled or upcycled materials. The results were truly incredible and brought me so much joy when I was looking at them. Therefore, I thought I would share just a few examples with you. Enjoy!

Thank you to everyone from Foundation to Year Six (including family members) who has been involved in bringing so much artwork to life this term!

Enjoy the school holidays and I will see you all next term, either in the onsite or remote art room!
