Wellbeing Update

'At St Anthony’s we strive to provide safe classroom communities that provide students with a sense of safety, affirmation and belonging, alongside opportunities to explore faith and social / emotional skills.'

2020 has been a challenging year on many different levels. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to all families who have juggled many different roles throughout this COVID period. As the P-2 students transition back to school in Week 2 and the 3-6 continue remote learning until further notice. Student Wellbeing will be our priority and is always at the forefront of all the work we do at St Anthony's. Students will participate in engaging Social Emotional Learning lessons in Term 4, to assist their transition back to onsite learning. The students will also take part in reflecting on their remote learning experience.

We are lucky enough to have Andrea (Art Therapy) and Katrina (Psychologist) as part of the Wellbeing Team. If you feel your child needs extra support, please contact me to discuss the referral process. If you have any concerns or questions about anything Wellbeing related. Please contact me via email or direct message on Class Dojo.

Have a wonderful September holiday!

Kind regards,

During eSmart week our senior students were busy designing e-posters to emphasise the importance of staying safe in online environments.
